Thompson Hall: Autograph monograph

A painting with different symbols and text relating to inequality spread across a background made of painterly brush strokes, washi tape and printed eyes.

A new publication of Thompson Hall’s paintings is to be published by Autograph

Launching Autumn 2023

We are delighted to announce a new publication by ActionSpace artist Thompson Hall titled Colour is My Signature. Produced by Autograph and supported by the Explorers Project, this is the first monograph of Thompson’s artworks stretching across his artistic career. Through abstracted symbols and text, Thompson’s work explores the inequality of society and the world around him regarding politics, social change, racism and the impact that Covid-19 is having on our society.

Thompson was Autograph’s first Artist-In-Residence in 2022 and his work was shown on the side of Autograph’s building in a display titled Inequality, Marginalisation and Social Change.

This upcoming book is supported by ActionSpace and is part of the Explorers project, a national creative programme for increasing the visibility and representation of neurodivergent artists in contemporary visual art.
