We are deeply saddened to share the news that close friend and supporter of ActionSpace, Richard Katona has sadly passed away. Over the years Richard attended many of our exhibitions and events and was always eager to join in workshops led by ActionSpace artists. Our Co-Director and friend of Richard’s, Barbara Van Heel shares her reflections:

“Richard was one of life’s rare people. He was genuinely loving and caring for others. We would like to thank Richard Katona’s family (Krystle Stevens and family) for their very generous donation to ActionSpace in memory of an incredible caring man who devoted all his energy and passion in making society a more equal place to live. Richard will always be in our hearts, and I still miss him terribly.
