Cecilia Caulder and Babajide Brian are selected for the Royal Academy of Arts’ Making Space programme

Action Space artists Cecilia Caulder and Babajide Brian have been selected for Making Space, the Royal Academy of Arts new inclusive artist development programme for learning disabled and neurodivergent artists.

Babajide and Cecilia are among eight selected artists, who applied to the programme through an open submission
process. Over 10 months, the artists will meet monthly at the RA for learning and mentorship. Taking inspiration from the RA’s Collection, exhibitions, and each other, the artists will work to expand and develop their art practice.

Artist educators Georgia Akbar, Helen Rousseau and Anna Farley will work alongside the cohort, supporting them to gain new skills and shape their own professional development.
