Linda Bell led an online participatory event with multiple SEN schools for A New Direction’s ‘I Am Festival’ 2021. Linda shared her interactive sculptural practice, inviting participants to create alongside her. Following Linda’s lead, participants created piles of ripped coloured papers which they attached, then billowed within large silver foil sheets. Together they created a mass sculptural movement performance online, across London. The event was the culmination of a series of experimental online workshops with students from The Garden School, Hackney.

The workshops and ‘I Am Festival‘ event were showcased on the ‘Make it Live‘ website, an online space to document and share ActionSpace’s evolving live art digital programme.
