Watch This Space 2017

ActionSpace artists returned to the Southside Shopping Centre for the last instalment from the Watch This Space series. The artists set up residency in an empty shop and developed site-specific artworks over 2 weeks as part of the Wandsworth Arts Fringe.

Throughout the residency, each artist also led a participatory workshop based on their own art practice. Participants were invited to share the artists’ creative processes and create artworks alongside them, experimenting with large-scale sculpture, installation, painting and projections. The artworks from both the residency and the workshops resulted in an evolving installation exhibition open throughout for the public to explore.
