Culture on the Move was a six-month heritage project for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities living in Newham.

Students from John F Kennedy took part in workshops with the English Folk Dance and Song Society, learning about traditional folk song and dance. This turned into inspiration for artworks that the students made at ActionSpace’s Newham-based studio. The students were also working towards Arts Award.

This project took place in partnership with John F Kennedy School and English Folk Dance and Song Society, and was funded by Heritage Lottery Fund.
