Culture on the Move is a six-month heritage project for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities living in Newham.

Students from John F Kennedy will take part in workshops with the English Folk Dance and Song Society, learning about traditional folk song and dance. This will become inspiration for artworks that the students make at ActionSpace’s Newham-based studio. The students will also work towards Arts Award.

This project is taking place in partnership with John F Kennedy School and English Folk Dance and Song Society, and is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund.
