We are pleased to announce that ActionSpace artists Nnena Kalu, Lasmin Salmon and artist facilitator Michelle Kurth have been chosen to exhibit at the ‘Threads Contemporary Textiles Open‘ in Salisbury among the work of 46 other artists. The exhibition is showcasing a varied range of two- and three-dimensional work by established and new makers.

This year, Salisbury Arts Centre’s annual open exhibition focuses on Textiles and the wide range of approaches to working in this field from knit and stitch to felt and printing, plus innovative new techniques that might not have been expected.

Salisbury Art Centre had a massive response to their call out for entries, with over 80 applicants submitting over 200 potential exhibits for selectors, Polly Leonard (Editor of Selvedge Magazine)and Michael Brennand-Wood (Lecturer and Arts Consultant) to choose from.

Have a look at Lasmin’s and Nnena’s previous exhibitions and stay tuned to see what they will show for this Open exhibition, which started on 1 October and is open until 12 November 2016
