ActionSpace joins Explorers Project II
ActionSpace, along with nine other visual arts organisations partner for Explorers Project II. Explorers is a national creative programme for increasing the visibility and representation of neurodivergent artists in contemporary visual art.
The Explorers Project seeks to:
- Create platforms for neurodivergent people.
- Create pathways for cultural organisations to deepen their understanding and commit to inviting neurodivergent people and carers into their spaces.
- Works towards changing the discourse of how neurodivergent artists are positioned and described in culture.

ActionSpace was invited to be a part of the Explorers Conference: Art, Rights and Representation in 2019. ActionSpace artists Ian Wornast and Thompson Hall presented an artist talk of their artwork from their touring exhibition, My Life In London with Ali Eisa from Autograph. Also, ActionSpace artist Andrew Omoding presented a selection of sculptures and a performance in an artist showcase for the conference.
