Michelle Kurth speaks at InPractice, Royal Academy

InPractice, run by the Royal Academy, invited disabled artists and creative people at risk of exclusion from the art world to share their practice with others. At this event, Michelle Kurth spoke about her collaborative project with Philippa Marshall, A Dialogue with Colour.

Michelle and Philippa completed a 3-month residency at the Free Space Gallery in 2016, during which they created work in response to their environment and to the experience of working with each other. At InPractice, Michelle shared her experiences and shared images of the residency, and explained the creative processes that they used.

An exhibition of the work Michelle and Philippa created during their residency was on display at Kentish Town Heath Centre.

Date: Friday 3 February 2017, 6 pm – 8:30 pm
Location: The General Assembly Room, Royal Academy of Arts,  Burlington House, Piccadilly, London, W1J 0BD
