ActionSpace artist Ophir Yaron is part of the new project unseen collective

 

ActionSpace artist Ophir Yaron has been invited by the artist Jo Longhurst to be a part of the new project titled unseen collective. The collective is made up of creative women/non-binary individuals who experience unseen conditions and disabilities to produce new moving image work. The work will use the concept of bindweed as a framework for exploring agency, visibility, movement and performance.

Artists include: Jo Longhurst, Helena Boateng, Alessandra Genualdo, Alice Hattrick, Marie-Claire Nonchalente, Liz Orton, Natasha Trotman and Ophir Yaron. Art et al. co-founder Lisa Slominski is the curator of the project.

This project has been supported by Arts Council England, Studio Voltaire, and Art et al.; and Unseen Collective works collaboratively with the London-based art organisations ActionSpace and Headway East London (Submit to Love Studios); and the London Screen Academy.
