Ali Kamalati loves experimentation with different media to create paintings and drawings on various scales. His small paintings are sometimes brought together into freeform books that tell a visual story which he delights in narrating. Larger paintings in oils inks and acrylics, capture other worlds, landscapes and the feeling of floating in the Cosmos.

The paintings often initiated by his characterful drawings, suggests animated events, objects, words and landscapes, all inspired by his love of nature, of Space and Aliens, films, cartoons and the many possibilities of the beyond.

Ali’s work is intuitive, intimate and quirky, everything that captures his extravert nature.
